One opportunity that I had was, I got the chance to be a visual design intern at American Red Cross. Some the projects that I was in charge of and helped with were the Red Cross Colorado/ Wyoming cookbook. A collection of recipes from the Red Cross community.
Another project was creating a pin design for the Red Cross volunteers during the Marshall fire. The American Red Cross was on the ground in Colorado providing comfort and support in response to the Marshall Fire. I was given the project to create a pin design, Red Cross has a tradition of collecting pins that represents various chapters and programs, with people earning pins for years of service, important projects or other noteworthy achievements.
